9:00 a.m. Dashibi Hill Trail

Enjoy this easy but stunning infinity sea view trail in the early morning! The first half of the trail is a steep staircase, but it is worth climbing for the amazing scenery on the top. About 15 minutes later, you can face the wind from the Pacific Ocean, listen to the waves, and take beautiful photos. It is really worth visiting and staying.

 

10:30 a.m. Tropic of Cancer Marker Park

Standing next to the monument, you may wonder how the earth can sustain itself with the changing climate. The Tropic of Cancer Monument is a popular tourist spot, but you can also try some snacks from the original people’s stalls.

 

11:00 a.m. ShinLong Cafe

This garden is located in a local path of Taiwan 11 line. It charges 150 yuan per person, which can be used for consumption in the park. You can choose from many seating areas with different views such as ocean views, cliff views, mountain views, forest views, etc., after order a drink or a dessert, you just relax and listen to the sound of the sea.

 

13:00 p.m. King Kong Avenue

This is a must-see place for photography lovers! Diamond Avenue is a straight and mountainous and coastal road, with no poles and yellow terraced fields on both sides. You can see the whole road from the entrance to the mountains, or from the end of the road to the Pacific Ocean.

 

14:30 p.m. Necklace Studio

With a beautiful name, Necklace Studio is an artistic works cafe. For the store collection of many color of the art creation works, such as the half-moon-shaped up the seaside swing as a popular photo spot. Each person into the park need to order a drink or daily hand-made dessert first, and then you can sit in your favorite seat or listen to the sea sound.

 

16:30 p.m. Shitiping Area

The name of Shitiping comes from the natural stone ladder landscape formed by the sea waves. It s is a natural wonder with sea erosion platforms, uplifted coral reefs, sea erosion ditches, sea erosion cliffs, sea erosion pot holes and coastal terraces. You can see the rich and diverse coral reefs and tropical fish under the sea. You can walk along the trail and enjoy the sea erosion landform, the sound of the waves, and the reef coast forest ecology. Shitiping Port is also a great place for whale watching.

 

19:00 p.m. 055 Lobster & Seafood Restaurant

055 Lobster & Seafood Restaurant offers lobster, abalone, red shrimp, nine holes, squid, white sweet shrimp, and fresh sea fishing. I recommend you order two servings of seafood, one bowl of tofu clam soup, and one plate of fried rice or fried noodles. A fresh live lobster is 550 yuan, and you can choose steamed or garlic. I prefer steamed, because it is more fresh.

You may need to wait in line if you don’t have a reservation. 

 

Taiwan is an island with many coastal attractions, but the double shore area is far and less visited by outsiders. Most people who live here are locals or long-term residents who enjoy the ocean and the mountains, and learn the tribal culture and skills.

They live a good and slow life here.
