Atolan Village is an Amis village by the Pacific Ocean, Taiwnese also call it Dulan village which sound like lots of rocks and stones. It is a nice surfing place and hangout in East Taiwan Taitung. With the special Dulan Mountain, the enviroment shows a lively and friendly vibe.

Dulan Bay and QianQiao Beach is a secret beach for surfers and locals, with pebbles and driftwood. You can sit on a big piece of wood, enjoy breakfast, surfers and listen to the waves.
11:00 a.m. Roen Misak Cafe
Near Dulan Elementary School, Roen Misak Cafe with stories of the owner’s ancestor and Amis proverbs on the wall. You can have pastas, desserts or cup of coffee, feel free to listen bosses share their Dulan stories. You will see the beauty and romance of Dulan family.
13:00 p.m. Dulan Community
Dulan Community is a local community with foreign influences, because many people from abroad settled here for surfing. You can find different cuisines, such as pizza, pasta, BBQ, Asian, and indigenous. You can also meet travelers, artists, Amis people, and surfers. If you want to take some conersation with Dulan people, you can show your talents and enthusiasm. They will invite you to join their fun so.
15:00 Dulan Sugar Cultural Park (Xindong Sugar Factory)
Dulan Sugar Cultural Park is a cultural and creative park, with Dulan villagers and artists selling meals or handicrafts by local and groups from Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan. You can see colorful creations of various sizes. You will know that they are not for making money, but for showing the beauty of life.
17:30 p.m. Taguchi.Hill Dining
This is a restaurant run by the owner of Luohua Shixi, with Osaka burn, fried udon noodles, boiled food, grilled food, and various wines. You can chat with the neighbors by the campfire, talk about the weather, the waves, and the creative ideas. You will enjoy the Dulan life.
20:00 p.m. Luohua Shixi/Groundnut Backpacker Hostel (Dulan)
Luohua Shixi/Groundnut Backpacker Hostel provides 10 mixed backpack beds, 4 female backpack beds, and 1 double room (with its own bathroom). You can be surrounded by books in the living room, use the open kitchen, and go to the 3rd floor terrace to see the sea view. You may want to stay here for a long time. You can also follow the owner, who is a surfing coach, to the sea and challenge yourself.
